Upcoming Desert Training Camp
/
I'm getting ready for an April cycling training camp in Arizona. I will be one of the head coaches for week 7 of Desert Camp, offered through Pac Tour (http://www.pactour.com/desert.htm).
I have been riding as much as I possibly can considering the very snowy winter we have had.
My favorite ride has been to start at my house at 7,000 feet and head down hill to a dirt road called Poorman Road. I then climb Poorman road to another canyon road called Sunshine Canyon. From there I climb for about a little over an hour to aproximately 9,000 feet. At that point I put on a thick winter coat, extra thick gloves and head back down to my house.
The ride is short but sweet and I love the awesome views.
